You can blow me with your “Party Unity My Ass” bullshit. Maybe too many of a similar mindset to yours decided to vote for Nixon instead of McGovern because a black woman was so TOTALLY disregarded. That’s what you’re preaching. Bone up on your history before you come around ratfucking here, cuz I for one will school your questionable rear end.
It’s ALWAYS the lesser of two evils, my fellow progressives (and this means the REAL progressives, not the rat-fucking shit-stirrers who are especially busy little ogres all over the InternetsTubes these days. Yeah, we know you. We recognize you. We will continue to “rat” your asses out, you misunderestimating fucks.) And it will remain so, with the totally corrupted and self-interestedly entrenched hegemonic Tweedle-dee/Tweedle-dum two-party system we’ve ALL suffered under for decades, until a viable, truly progressive THIRD PARTY emerges in this country. That’s all that will save us, I am convinced. Put us on the right road to that NOW. Suck it up and let’s regroup.
I love the bolded part. True blue Progressives can bitch at each other, blog smack the hell out of each, and even love each other (this is a very rare occurrence, granted). But when it comes election time, we don’t forget which party is which. We know that McCain isn’t interested in us or our goals. We know that BushCo is ripe with more homophobic, racist, misogynist pieces of shit than our side could ever produce. Unfortunately there are still some lost souls who really believe that these infiltrators are part of us. They aren’t. They’re looking out for their interests- which is to say Bush and Company.
