Some of OHLGM brigade are saying that the threat of losing Roe v. Wade means nothing. Someone mentioned that there is no legislation threatening a woman’s right to make medical decisions for her own body (aka “choice”). Feministing via Think Progress compiled a list of thing McCain is famous for with regards to those medical decisions.

- Voted to end “the Title X family planning program, credited with helping prevent over 9 million abortions.”

- Voted against funding teen‐pregnancy‐prevention programs and ensuring that “abstinence‐only” programs are medically accurate.

- Voted for the domestic gag rule, which would have prohibited federally funded family‐planning clinics from providing women with access to full information about their reproductive‐health options.

- Voted to take $75 million from the Maternal and Child Health Block Grant to establish a new “abstinence‐only” program that censors information about birth control.

- Declined to help reduce the need for abortion and improve maternal health by opposing effort to require insurance coverage for prescription birth control, improve access to emergency contraception, and provide more women with prenatal health care.

- Voted against legislation that would have prevented unintended pregnancy by investing in insurance coverage for prescription birth control, promoting family‐planning services, implementing teen‐pregnancy‐prevention programs, and developing programs to increase awareness about emergency contraception

Oh, here we go with the perfect example of Idiot X. Harriet Christian goes on national television and state her name and hometown and then was shocked that Internet freaks threatened her. Here’s a clue, Harriet, the NUMBER ONE rule on the Intertubes is never give your real name online if you’re not ready for the freaks to come calling.

Also, she’s spouting all the favorite OHLGM site talking points. “Don’t use Roe vs. Wade against me! It doesn’t matter!” Because she’s doesn’t believe that if McCain is elected he’ll have any power. Afterall, there will be a Democratic Congress, right? He’ll get no policies passed so it’s safe to vote for him. And OMG! Obamabots were mean to her. And Obama didn’t seek her out to kiss her ring. Can you believe that?

What a complete and utter fool. She’s certainly milking her 15 minutes, isn’t she? Ha! And the OHLGM sites certainly are giving her the props. They can’t get enough of the loud mouth drunk who doesn’t seem to know the rules of the party were set before the primaries. Who needs those pesky facts anyway?

You go, Harriet Christian, you tell those bastards at the DNC that they suck and you’re taking your vote somewhere else. Who better to represent you than McCain, right? Whoo-hoo! You’ll show us, won’t ya?

Larry Needs Bail Money

Well, lo and behold, but it looks like one of the biggest OHLGM Idiots has been arrested.

Larry Sinclair has been alleging that he engaged in homosexual love-nibbles with Barack Obama and that Sen. Obama even shared some nose candy with him. He says that Barack, in an effort to keep the truth from coming out, had a reporter killed…or something. Maybe it was a male prostitute. Who can keep track anymore?

Well, somehow Larry managed to get into the National Press Club so that he can hold a press conference. Apparently, Larry purchased some space there, as the Press Club stated that they don’t refuse anyone the space as long as they can come up with the dolla bills. Larry also, apparently, begged, borrowed and stole to get the money. Ah, the Idiots will help each other do anything.

Of course, the club had made clear for some time that it should not be viewed as endorsing Mr. Sinclair’s claims simply for having agreed to host his mind-numbingly preposterous litany — heavens, no! All that could be said for the institution was that it was happy to rent out its space to anyone who might be willing to pay in order to switch on the microphone.

And pay Sinclair did — for the venue and its microphone, as well as for a kilted lawyer (with a suspended license) named Montgomery Blair Sibley, who informed those assembled that his preferences in dress were arrived at as a way to secure comfort for his unusually large sexual organs. “I don’t know why men wear pants,” he said with a poker face. “It’s a function of male genitalia. Really? This isn’t something from an Adam Sandler movie? Mr. Sandler, please take notes, because this, sir, would be too good for you to pass up. Moving on.

Someone on DailyKos discovered that Larry is a wanted man. And the campaign began. Someone else contacted the FBI. And that, as they say, was that. Larry took his happy butt to Washington and held his “press conference” (quotes are used here, because, well, I can’t take this guy very seriously). And he knew he had outstanding warrants and that people hate him.

I also have an active “Colorado Only” warrant for alleged “Theft and Forgery”. I am not ignoring this warrant but am addressing it with the Court in Colorado as well as with the DA’s office. I have a pending motion to dismiss this warrant which I am waiting to have calendared by the Colorado Court.

Still he went. Desperation must have been driving that man like a starving cat sniffing out a used up tuna can. The cat, though, would have been smart enough not to lick the sharp edges. Not our Larry.

After a phone call to the Washington DC Police, we have verified that Lawrence Wayne Sinclair has been arrested at the National Press Club just after his press conference ended.

That Hypocrite!

Something funny in OHLGM land. Taylor Marsh put up this entry (give ‘em just enough to keep ‘em coming back, eh, Taylor?). It’s an entry regarding Obama questioning why McCain is attacking his wife and it says in part:

But where was Obama when Hillary was getting maligned in the press? He was nowhere to be found.

This situational anti sexism doesn’t impress me much from Senator Obama. All it does is remind me of his silence throughout the entire primary season, incluinding when his national co-chair Jesse Jackson Jr. questioned whether Hillary cried after Katrina.

So excuse me if I’m not too moved about Obama hitting McCain for not sticking up for his wife, especially since he couldn’t do the same for Hillary. To combat this type of sexism you can’t just care when it happens to you or your family. It’s got to matter no matter the woman being slimed. Obama is now learning it doesn’t feel too good, just like Bill Clinton learned on the campaign trail. No one cared when WJC complained about this stuff; instead they attacked him mercilessly for simply sticking up for his wife. Because after all, we are talking about the Clintons.

Too bad Obama didn’t have the spine to stick up for Hillary, too. Then I’d be all in on this latest from our nominee. But since he couldn’t be bothered neither can I.

Now, Taylor keeps telling folks that she’s trying to help the Democrats get into office and she’ll work against McCain to see that happen…blah blah blah. But every so often she throws her rabid fans a bone- just like this one. Where was Obama when the slime machine was working against Hillary? Probably the same place Hillary was when she was going after his lack of a flag pin or his religion or talking about why “white Americans” come out for her (hard working, white Americans, of course) or his oh so obvious^* “elitism” (pot meet kettle) or her pandering to hunters with their guns (yeah).

When some brave soul asked Taylor in her comments why Clinton didn’t come out against the obvious racism directed at the Obama family this is what Taylor had to say:

When Michelle Obama gets into political topics and starts hitting Rep. she’s opening herself up to criticism. That’s *always* been the case with political spouses. Mrs. Obama is very political when she stumps for her husband. That puts her in play whether we like it or not, just as it did for Theresa Heinz Kerry or Elizabeth Edwards.

Where was Obama when Clinton got attacked for allegedly being racist? He didn’t do anything there either, in fact, Obama’s team started it with D-Punjab. What about Obama’s South Carolina memo?

Betsy, if you think I’m going to give Obama a pass on this stuff you’re mistaken. I don’t work like that. I’m behind beating McCain 100%, but I’m not going to ignore this type of hypocrisy.

By the way, I call *both* sides on this stuff when it’s appropriate. That’s my job.

So, when I originally landed on Taylor’s home page the image in the post was a huge button that says “#1 Hypocrite”. Then I went into the permalink page and guess what? The image was different! What? You don’t believe me? Well, shucks.

Why did you feel the need to change the images, Taylor? I’m just curious. Afraid that the original one would be construed by some on the Left as a little too, um, venomous? Afraid that radio show won’t materialize if you keep feeding the rabid Idiots the fare they crave to keep on hating Obama?

Give ‘em just a little nibble here and there and they’ll keep coming back. Just hoping that Taylor is coming out of her suddenly insanity in backing a Democrat. They keep praying that you’ll rejoin them, Taylor, and you give them just enough to keep coming back in hopes that you have.

Here’s a clue, though, for the Idiots en masse. Obama will defend his wife because he adores her. Clinton went dirty in her campaign against him, she was his opponent and she’s not his wife. Hypocrite? No. You’re the hypocrite for expecting this man to come out swinging for the woman who made it her mission to assassinate his character. He wasn’t responsible for what the idiots in the media did. She was responsible for what she did.

I don’t expect Taylor to care about that though. After all, she’s just trying to keep her pageviews up. No doubt she’ll be reeling in the big dollar advertisers soon. Maybe even get her own show like that traitorous Rachel Maddow. I mean, she’s not nearly as venomous as Taylor and she gets her own show. What is the world coming to?

I am curious though, Taylor, if the Obama people have reached out to you yet? Still holding out hope that they’ll see you as important enough? Could that be why you changed those pictures? Well, good luck with that.

Obama is Now Responsible for Russert’s Death

Oh here we go. Now that Tim Russert has passed (RIP) Idiot X declares that his heart attack must have been caused by Obama. Because Obama is the EVUL.

I don’t trust this for a minute. Who knows to what extent Obama’s thugs go to bully those who don’t back their little lord of the flies, Obama? The only reporter who dared to stand up to Obama in the debates and ask him really tough questions is dead. I’m sure that sends a clear message to many.

Obama has a lot of explaining to do

Sen. Clinton got booed by Obama supporters in Detroit yesterday. So what do the OHLGM people say? Well, duh, that Obama should have “chastised” the crowd. One even went so far as to say:

But wait! When someone helpfully pointed out that Barack actually did take the crowd to task with this:

“I want everybody here to be absolutely clear — I want everybody here to be absolutely clear — Senator Clinton is one of the finest public servants we have in American life today,” said Obama, noting her work on behalf of children’s rights and universal health care.

“She has been on the right side of just about every battle that we have fought — she has, in her own words, shattered a glass ceiling into 18 million pieces. ….She is worthy of our respect, she is worthy of our honor.

“…And she’s tough! That’s why this race took so long. She’s a fighter and we need fighters in the Democratic Party. Because we’ve got a lot to fight for. There’s a lot worth fighting for.”

…that just wasn’t good enough. Nope.

I found this comment on an OHLGM* site. It was in response to Idiot X demonstrating their complete lack of brain power by declaring that Obama’s father was- gasp! – a Muslim (haven’t we been over this before?). At any rate…

In fact? NONE of them! Hell, I wanted Shirley Chisholm in ‘72 — a black woman! 36 fucking YEARS AGO! Whatcha got to say about THEM apples, PUMA? You can blow me with your “Party Unity My Ass” bullshit. Maybe too many of a similar mindset to yours decided to vote for Nixon instead of McGovern because a black woman was so TOTALLY disregarded. That’s what you’re preaching. Bone up on your history before you come around ratfucking here, cuz I for one will school your questionable rear end.

It’s ALWAYS the lesser of two evils, my fellow progressives (and this means the REAL progressives, not the rat-fucking shit-stirrers who are especially busy little ogres all over the InternetsTubes these days. Yeah, we know you. We recognize you. We will continue to “rat” your asses out, you misunderestimating fucks.)
